Lesson 2 谢谢你

is there any difference in using xiéxie or ganxié?
Hi Pedro, yes, although both “谢谢” (xièxie) and “感谢” (gǎnxiè) are used to express gratitude, there is a slight difference.
In short, for most people and most everyday situations, “谢谢” is safe and appropriate. When you want to express deeper sincerity or are in a more formal setting, “感谢” is a better choice.
can i have the pronounciation of the words with iou ,uen and uei
The Hanzi video is still the “nihao” one, not the”xie xie ni”
Hi Joyce Yang. Thank you for your feedback. The lesson has been updated.
